This is the old band stand which stood on the west side of trout lake and was the scene of many Sunday Afternoons in the Park concerts. 

The PNA tried to honor that tradition for Olmsted's birthday with a band concert June 2022 by the Irondequoit Town Band in the Longhouse shelter.
